Description: This dataset is provided for historical reference purposes only. The Bush Fire Prone Areas designated on 21/05/2016 dataset (OBRM-005) highlights new additions to the bush fire prone areas of Western Australia as designated by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner on 21 May 2016. The four month transition period for these areas has now concluded. For these areas, additional planning and building requirements applied to development on and from 21 September 2016. This overlay should be used in conjunction with Bush Fire Prone Areas 2016 (OBRM-004), which identifies all bush fire prone areas of Western Australia as designated by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner on 21 May 2016.
